Welcome to the Members section.

This area is used by current members of our congregation. We recognize that the people make a church and in order for people to do the work of the church they need to be organized.

The congregation of St. Stephen is organized into three groups:

• Church Council where, with the Pastor, oversee high-level, long range goals are established and met
• Commissions are responsible for long-term projects and general behind the scene activities for the church
• Task forces focus on one-time special projects

All of our groups are volunteers. Some are retired, some are busy professionals, all of whom are called by God to do His work in some way. If you would like to learn more about the various groups please contact the office at the numbers below.

Are you a member of AAL or Lutheran Brotherhood?
Since the Lutheran Brotherhood and AAL merged to become Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, their benevolent and matching fund programs have changed. We need three members to agree to serve as contact people for our branch. If you have insurance from either company, please let us know so we can start a local branch in our congregation and receive up to $1,200 a year in matching funds from Thrivent. To date, no one has come forward yet, and we don't want to lose the money, so please contact the office at the numbers below. Thank you!
