In 2006, St. Stephen began hosting a music and poetry night as a social outreach for our congregation and neighbors. To market our outreach we tried playing off the popular TV show by dubbing this as “Lutheran Idol.” While this is certainly more memorable than “music and poetry night” it tends to put two thoughts into most people’s minds; church and judgment (Thanks Simon). The Causeway Cafe hosts our house band, Right of Way and features talented musicians and bands that share the passion of spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through their music. |

As a place where fellowship and community come together we invite you to this place for encouragement to strengthen your faith in Jesus and share the joy of God’s love. Be a part of this growing outreach, come share the Spirit! If you sing, recite poetry or have family-friendly comedy, or like to bake, enjoy hosting intimate groups of people and would like to support the Causeway Cafe in some way, use the contact method of your choice above to let the Church office know.
